Chippendale Tall Case Clock. Litchfield, County, circa 1795-1805. Cherry, maple inlay, white pine secondary wood. Fine condition. In a desirable diminutive size, this Connecticut clock displays great proportions and scale. It is further embellished with inlay patterns characteristic of pieces with Litchfield County history. 83 inches high (top of finial); 20 inches wide (hood); 13 ¾ inches (case); 10 inches depth (feet).
