Pompeian style cast bronze brazier or jardinière, Italian, late 19th C.- early 20th C., after a Roman example excavated at Pompeii, removable pierced spire rim with flanking handles, bowl with raised stamp "Made in Italy", tripod base with three monopodia satyr form legs, each with hand raised to viewer, terminating with paw foot on ringed base, single pierced round stretcher shelf near top, missing the three lower handles, wear consistent with age and use including minor scratches, oxidation, loss of finish, etc., 35" h. x 20" w. x 20" d.
