Attributed by plaque to François-Joseph Navez (Belgian, 1787 - 1869) appears to be in his manner, 19th C. portrait, oil on canvas, a young woman wearing white dress with blue sash, in gilt frame with Navez plaque, unsigned, dated 12 April 1826 verso, wear consistent with age including past restoration to face, neck, and bodice, inpainting to hands, small areas of cracquelare, sold as is, ss: 25" h. x 20 1/2" w.
