ASIAN: Pair of Shibayama decorated ivory tusks on custom stands, Japanese, Meiji period, each with flowering trees and birds on front to both sides, all similar but not matching, gilt decoration throughout along with inlaid Mother of Pearl and other decorative hardstone accents, mounted on matching carved and gilt decorated rotating wood bases, wear consistent with age and use including scattered loss of inlay, both with numerous age cracks to top and base, both sold as is, tusk only: 7 5/8" h., overall: 13 1/4" h.
