JEWELRY: Antique pheasant brooch with demantoid garnets and diamonds, early 20th C., tested 18K yellow gold and platinum over yellow gold, containing fifty-eight pave- set round cut demantoid (green) garnets with an estimate total weight of 1.36 carats; also containing a mixture of pave- set old European and rose cut diamonds, 140 diamonds total with an estimate combined weight of 2.56 carats, F-G color, SI1- SI2 clarity, along with one bezel- set round ruby weighing approximately .02 carats; all stones abraded due to age, some stones have nicks and chips, 2 ¾" x 1 1/8", [Total Weight including stones: 12.6 grams.] [VERBAL PROVENANCE: Purchased by a Philadelphia family and owned by descent.]
