Dutch portrait with plaque attributing work to Michiel Jansz Van Miereveld (Dutch, 1567 - 1641), oil on panel, finely painted portrait of a young lady with blue eyes and fan collar, richly appointed in lace, gold brocade and jewels, plaque mounted on frame reads "Michiel Jansz Mierevelt, Delft, 1567 - 1641", wear consistent with age and use including some cracking of board, 1/2" of board added to right and bottom margin to fit frame, several small spots of loss at bottom edge less than 1/8" in size, board slightly loose in frame, board size: 19" h. x 16 1/4" w.; frame size: 26 1/2" h. x 24" w.
